Membership with Home Education QLD Inc

HEQ Inc is your not for profit, home education community, run by volunteers. We are a registered charity. Your membership fee will be used to help pay for website development and maintenance, insurance, phone line, events and more.

Membership will provide you with:

  • Discounts – HEQ offer a variety of discounts through the year.
  • Talks and Education Workshops – We have live monthly online sessions on registration, monthly guest talks on various home education related topics and will have a library of video talks only available to HEQ members.
  • Camps and Excursions – HEQ and other volunteers will organise a variety of excursions and camps throughout the year.
  • Incursions – HEQ aims to have a wide variety of online incursions and workshops throughout the year for members.
  • Registration Paperwork help – HEQ members can have their plans and reports checked before sending their application to HEQ.
  • Insurance – HEQ Members will from 2025 have access to Volunteer Accident Insurance and Public Liability Insurance for events.
  • A Calendar of Events for home educators in Qld, some are members only, others will be public.
  • Grants – HEQ members will have activities and events and discounts funded by grants obtained as a registered charity.
  • Private Online Forum – members have access to connect, chat, share ideas and have online live sessions.

Membership is for the whole family and is renewed yearly and lasts 12 months from the time you join.

Please note there will be a delay in processing manual memberships that are paid by bank deposit. Once paid, membership is final and there will be no refunds. 

Home Education Qld is based in Queensland, but we welcome interstate members.
