Diverse Needs Registration
The Home Education Unit in Qld recognise that there are many students with Diverse Needs that may need a different style of education. The legislation requirements are that we show “high quality learning” and that does look different for each child and their unique needs.
There is a Diverse Needs Template and a Diverse Needs Report template to assist. Review the Goals Based and Thematic Plan Templates to see what might suit – Check out our Reporting and Planning Templates for examples, including HEU’s Diverse Needs Template
The General Capabilities for ACARA may be helpful for identifying learning areas and goals. It is not required to be followed. General Capabilities V9 Australian Curriculum
